Another good exercise, remodeling the espresso machine that started out as one of the props that I used for my kitchen scene earlier.
Modeling with creased edges and using vertex groups.

In the modelling process I learned a lot about using creased edges (Shift + E) which are awesome!
I also gained some trust in working with vertex groups, which are also great to assign different materials to different parts of the same object. Could be a bit more user friendly on the GUI side I think.
Some experience gained in texturing and UV unwrapping, I find it a complex matter that still has some secrets for me, I guess.. Time will tell.
